Lastly, THE BCS game tonight showcases the #1 and #2 teams in the country: LSU Tigers v Alabama Crimson Tide. The two top teams meet for the second time this season as they last went at each other in November with a below average performance. The top news in that game was that Les Miles ate more grass and the kicker’s for both team think they are way too good. Here’s what’s going to be better: Alabama’s Running Game, LSU’s wide receiving core, Special Teams. Yes, I know most people on ESPN are talking about how the QB play of both teams needs to be superior because last time was about as interesting as watching a documentary on how grass grows.. but I have a strong feeling that neither will be a major impact in the final score. Both teams QB’s are not their best players and neither of them are really “winners” so I’m not expecting much from A.J. McCaron or the fleet of rotating QB’s that LSU plays. I foresee a few big plays and actually a few touchdowns but look for both defenses to bear down in the second half and show why most of the starters will be in the NFL soon enough. Trent Richardson has got to get into the endzone tonight for the Tide and he will… knowing that the NFL draft is just around the corner and payday is near. Let’s not forget about Landon Collins, who over the weekend verbally committed to Alabama even though his mother wanted him to be a Tiger. She was even stupid enough to go on national television and express her love for the Tigers as her son put on Alabama’s nike gloves. My advice for you MOM: You’re chances of your son getting paid are shrinking due to your large mouth.
