An absolutely awesome marketing and design idea by CCM and TaylorMade, who collaborated in designing a “RBZ Hockey Stick.” This nifty cross-sport idea designed by TaylorMade used their genius shaft designs to help CCM re-create a name for themselves. They are not out for sale yet but Ryan Nugent Hopkins of the Edmonton Oilers and Gabriel Landeskog of the Colorado Avalanche used them all season and were both unbelievable in their rookie term. As an avid golfer, TaylorMade has grown tremendously on tour and in design in the past 10 years. Their initial “Burner” has launched 4 “R-Series” Wood collections (Drivers included) and they are only getting started. I’m excited to see how the RBZ Hockey stick does on the shelf and the reactions from the young/old players on the product.
