The second post belongs to the NBA and what’s currently trending throughout ESPN’s talk shows. Chris Bosh has been listed as out indefinitely, Metta World Peace said he won’t shake hands with substitutes and does LBJ really deserve a 3rd MVP title? I say let’s start with the most interesting story and that always contains a guy named Peace. For a guy who decided to legally change his name, his jersey and his life, Metta World Peace is not very “peaceful” with his latest actions on the court. After elbowing James Harden (OKC’s 6th man award winner) after a very average dunk, Metta was suspended for 6 games of the Denver Nugget series. Well, now he says that he won’t be shaking any hands with substitutes come 9:30 ET tonight when the Lake-show and the Thunder take to the court. This is childish and arrogant from a guy like Artest, who should have called Harden and apologized for the vicious blow to the temple (for no reason). Now on to Bosh, who strained his abdomen last night in Game 1 of the Heat’s series versus the Pacers. I think this a shame for the Heat who ARE title contenders and will be making it back to the NBA finals after taking down the Celts. I don’t know what it does to their title chances but I’m sure it doesn’t help. Lastly, LBJ’s MVP award is deserving with his incredible numbers and unbelievable freak-of-nature approach to the NBA. Dwayne deserves some cred here for being “Batman” and stepping back from the main role, and letting LBJ be who he is.
